Reflections for Holy Week

Reflections for Holy Week: Karla Cuca Vásquez, Ambassador for SEMILLA Latin American Seminary  in Guatemala (https://semillagt.org/), recently visited communities in Kansas to share about SEMILLA’s seminary programs, Spanish language study and other learning opportunities which provide helpful resources and connections for WDC.  Karla also preached in several WDC congregations on the theme “Behold the Man,” based on John 19:1-16. She shared her sermon texts HERE, which each approach this scripture passage differently – one in Spanish and one in English – for WDC to share with our congregations.  May this message call us to courageous witness and compassionate solidarity, as Jesus’ followers in today’s world.
