Prayer

by Sandra Montes-Martinez, WDC Associate Conference Minister (Texas-Based)

Dear brothers and sisters, as we walk through the different and uniquely complex paths in our journey as people of God, I would like to offer a prayer.

Loving God, we glorify your name. Grant us your peace in this time of turmoil in our nation.
Calm our troubled hearts. Give us the strength and clarity to propagate your peace. Let us be instruments of reconciliation.
We pray for our communities, for those around us, that we can speak love, acceptance, and compassion.
That our actions reflect your teaching of looking out for the wellbeing of others and grace.
That your mercy, oh God, arises upon us as the sun covers the earth.
We trust your Love to heal.
