Grace Parker Sutter is our new Western District Staff Member! She is the Program Director of the new Lilly Endowment-funded, five-year faith formation initiative, Kids Meet Christ. Grace, her husband, and two children live in Wichita, KS where they attend Hope Mennonite Church. With a Master’s of Education and undergraduate degrees in Bible and Religion and English, Grace has over a decade of experience working with children and adults in classroom, church, and alternative settings. She believes in the church as a place of unique multigenerational community that challenges us to better align our lives with Jesus’ teachings. She is excited to be part of this new initiative and noted how she finds “such joy in creating spaces for children and inviting them into experiences, especially ones that lay the foundation for a rich spiritual life.” We are delighted to have Grace as part of the WDC staff. You should be hearing from her soon as the program takes shape.
