April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and Dove’s Nest, a 501(c)3 organization informally related to Mennonite Church USA, is pleased to offer a kit of materials for your use throughout the month. The kit includes a bulletin insert, with prayer and additional information about child and youth protection policies and lots of additional materials. Kansas Announcements
Attention Pastors – Everence will host a pastor education forum “Key Stewardship Passages that Preach” on Thursday, April 4 at two locations:
1) 8:00 – 9:30 am – at Whitestone Mennonite Church, 627 Crescent Drive, Hesston, KS (light breakfast served)
2) 2:45-3:45 pm – Northridge Friends Church, 2655 Bullinger St, Wichita, KS (snacks will be served)
Preaching tools shared will include: outlines from which pastors can build stewardship messages and antidotes for preparing messages on money. Beryl Jantzi, Everence Stewardship Education Director, is the presenter. $3 registration fee, payable at the seminar. Please RSVP by April 1 to darlene.buller@everence.com or call 877-467-7294.
