Mennonite Church of the Servant buys building

Mennonite Church of the Servant, Wichita, KS, has bought a building at 2401 N Woodland, north and west of its previous meeting place in north central Wichita.  The new space should make it more possible to host public forums and classes than the previous space, which had been shared with another congregation since 1996.  The classes and forums are intended as a way to reach out to the community, using the gifts of MCS members who teach biblical studies, theology, English as a Second Language, etc.

The building includes a flexible space that can be used for worship, classes, and potluck meals, as well as smaller classrooms.  The church is planning to install a kitchen in the near future.
