After an emphasis on the spiritual discipline of simplicity on Wednesday evenings since January, a fashion show was held on March 13 at Eden Mennonite Church with people who had signed up to model an outfit or two using recycled/used clothing.  It was a way to have an interactive intergenerational event without trying very hard.  Youth were involved and men and women of all ages.  We had a runway with runway music and narratives written for each outfit.  It turned out to be a lot of fun for all in the fashion show and for the audience, as well as raise awareness for thrift and consignment shopping as a way to simplify our lives and care about resources.
