In this season of Thanksgiving, I want to say thank you to all who are a part of WDC: staff, pastors, congregations, commission/committee/task force members, volunteers, donors, and others who are involved in many and various ways. We appreciate the all ways you are involved in WDC as we strive to Witness & invite others to faith in Jesus Christ, Dwell in just & loving relationships, Connect to God’s mission in the world. I pray that during this season you will feel God’s love and strength poured down on you, and I offer the following verse and a prayer of thanksgiving.
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. Colossians 2:6-7
Father, we praise you today with our hearts and songs, we praise you for your faithfulness, we praise you for your great power and love. We confess our need for you, our lives don’t go so well when we just spin around on our own. We struggle and worry, get weary and worn. Yet you never leave us. Thank you for your presence. Thank you for your care over us, thank you that you breathe renewal right into our souls. We ask for your spirit to fill us, to draw us close to yourself, and to work your purposes through us, as we set our eyes on you. Amen.*

Temporada de Acción de Gracias
En esta temporada de Acción de Gracias, quiero agradecer a todos los que son parte de WDC: empleados, pastores, congregaciones, miembros de comisiones / comités / grupos de trabajo, voluntarios, donantes y otros que están involucrados de muchas y diversas formas. Apreciamos todas las formas en las que está involucrado en WDC mientras nos esforzamos por Testificar e invitar a otros a la fe en Jesucristo. Habitar en relaciones justas y amorosas, Conectarnos con la misión de Dios en el mundo. Oro para que durante esta temporada sientan el amor y la fuerza de Dios derramados sobre ustedes, y les ofrezco el siguiente versículo y una oración de acción de gracias.
6 Por eso, de la manera que recibieron a Cristo Jesús como Señor, vivan ahora en él, 7 arraigados y edificados en él, confirmados en la fe como se les enseñó, y llenos de gratitud. Colosenses 2: 6-7
Padre, te alabamos hoy con nuestro corazón y cánticos, te alabamos por tu fidelidad, te alabamos por tu gran poder y amor. Confesamos nuestra necesidad de ti, nuestras vidas no van tan bien cuando solo damos vueltas por nuestra cuenta. Luchamos y nos preocupamos, nos cansamos y nos desgastamos. Sin embargo, nunca nos dejas. Gracias por tu presencia. Gracias por cuidarnos, gracias por que tu renuevas nuestras almas. Te pedimos que tu espíritu nos llene, que nos acerque a ti y que lleve a cabo tus propósitos a través de nosotros, mientras ponemos nuestros ojos en ti. Amén. *
