Rainbow Mennonite Church, Kansas City, KS would like to announce that their book, The Church by the Playground: The Story of the Sharing Community in Rosedale, by author Dorothy Nickel Friesen, retired WDC minister, is now nearing the finish line. Rainbow Mennonite Church hired Dorothy to write about the Sharing Community in Rosedale (SCR), of which their church is a part of, along with Rosedale United Methodist Church, and Rosedale Christian Church. This story about the SCR, highlights how three churches/denominations shared and collaborated with each other, rather than competing and remaining separated.
