Living with Loss support group will be offered May 7th through June 11th at Bethel College Mennonite Church, North Newton, KS. The support group is open to all who have experienced the death of a loved one, divorce, unemployment or any other life experience that has created grief. Living with Loss support group is co-facilitated by Elizabeth Schmidt, Pastor for Congregational Care at Bethel College Mennonite Church, and Dr. Gary Blaine, a retired chaplain and certified in grief counseling and grief group facilitation, as well as palliative care and hospice care. The meetings will last six weeks, beginning at 5:30 P.M. at Bethel College Mennonite Church. The support group is open to anyone and requires a minimum of six participants for the group to form. The cost is $10.00 per week. The group will gather for six weeks. The group will be closed to new participants after the second session.
