Kansas Coalition Against the Death Penalty Conference

The 2024 Kansas Coalition Against the Death Penalty conference will be held Saturday November 16th from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m at KU Memorial Union, Big 12 Room, 1301 Jayhawk Blvd. in Lawrence, KS. Based on our 2009 statement on the death penalty, WDC is an endorsing organization of the Kansas Coalition Against the Death Penalty. Entitled “All In For Repeal”, this conference is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about the death penalty. The keynote is Herman Lindsey, who was on Florida’s death row for three years despite being innocent. There is no admission charge. Persons may attend in person or register for a virtual link.
