-Aug 4 – Give thanks for the WDC Annual Assembly this weekend, and pray that we would all be open to God’s transforming work as we join together in community.
-Aug 11 – Pray for God’s joy and energy to be with students, teachers and their families in WDC congregations, as they anticipate the beginning of a new school year.
-Aug 18 – Give thanks for WDC church communities observing the 150th anniversary of Mennonites coming to Kansas and Nebraska. Pray for God’s wisdom, both as we celebrate the gifts of the past and as we pursue paths for healing the harm and injustice that is also part of our story as Mennonites.
