KNOW JESUS, sponsored by the WDC Youth Ministry Committee, is an overnight retreat for students in grades 6–8 where youth explore their Anabaptist roots through worship, community, and hands-on learning. The goal is to help young people deepen their relationship with Jesus while discovering what it means to follow him in the Anabaptist tradition.
Know Jesus will be held February 20–21 at Hesston College. This year’s theme, “This Is The Way,” is inspired by Micah 4:2–5, inviting youth to explore what it means to follow Jesus on the path of peace.
The weekend will feature speaker Hannah Martin, author and Associate Pastor at Beth-El Mennonite Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Her husband, Mike Martin, founder and Executive Director of RAWtools, will lead an interactive experience demonstrating how the vision of Micah 4—turning swords into plowshares—can be lived out today by transforming guns into garden tools.
